The Alwitco Thru-Flow Muffler is a specialized industrial noise control device built specifically to handle heavily contaminated pneumatic exhaust systems. This silencer features a unique, obstruction-free internal design that prevents particulate clogging. Traditional mufflers trap debris within their porous media, causing catastrophic backpressure buildup. The Thru-Flow design instead utilizes a dedicated straight-through velocity expansion chamber. This configuration allows heavy dirt, oil mist, slurries, and solid contaminants to pass freely through the assembly to be safely collected or released elsewhere while simultaneously dropping sound levels.
